Client: Ministry for Gozo
The Challenge:As one of the key renovation projects in Gozo, the old fortified town has been granted major restoration schemes co-financed by the European Union. While reviving this key historical landmark in Gozo’s capital, it was important to promote the work done and encourage the citizens to explore this heritage.
The Solution:We funneled our expertise in UI design and App development to produce an appealing and user-friendly Mobile Application providing an informative and visual experience to two different audiences. The visitors strolling around the site want to know more information about the heritage. The visitors could easily access this via the multimedia tour providing audio as well as visual information on the app. This is location-based, meaning, that whenever the user passes from specific points within the Citadel, they can easily tune in, to the related information. The other facility of the App targets those who prefer accessing the App from the comfort of their own home and provides 360° views of the Citadel. Branded Google Cardboard 3D glasses further enhance the 360° experience.
Our team further embellished the marketing material with the concept and design of promotional booklets outlining historical milestones, key information about the restoration project and completing information of the Citadel's museums, the Cathedral, and other venues.
