Karkanja Property Development is the website with which we ended 2016. Launched a couple of days before our Christmas shutdown, the new website aims to be an important tool in the customer’s journey to finding his next quality home or property.
The newly designed and developed website focuses on providing the client looking for a new house or home with a simple and easy-to-use experience. In fact, the ‘Property Search’ box facility that is prominently featured on the main page of the site accompanies the site visitor throughout the whole visit. On the secondary level pages, the ‘Property Search’ is always present as a bar at the top of the page. This means that any point in time whilst browsing the site, the visitor can opt to make his or her own search based on criteria like property type, location, minimum price, maximum price and the number of bedrooms.
The search facilities have been developed in such a way that the system gives intelligent search results. Apart from the listings which match exactly the criteria entered by the site visitor, the system also presents other properties which in one way or another can be of relevance. In this way, the site visitor is being made aware of a wider selection of properties and this can be of interest to him or her. All this is meant to aid in the customer journey, as the property buyer navigates the path towards finding his or her next dream home.
The list of properties resulting from the search are presented in a ‘Summary’ type of view and the user has the option to access a more ‘Detailed’ view that presents a gallery, more information and where applicable plans of the property in question. The user has the facility to keep track of favourite properties via a ‘Wishlist’.
On the website, Karkanja is also providing information about property purchasing and acquisition in Malta. Through the facility called ‘Property Locator’, Karkanja is presenting their signature developments or residencies on an interactive map. At each of these residencies, Karkanja usually has different units for sale and for each development, the website is displaying the units that have been already sold along with those that are still available.
